Do you think you could create a stunning photo movie using all the fantastic features of the MyElephantsBite.com? If so you may win a cash prize. So gather your pictures, think of your photo movie idea and start directing!
Here are the rules.
1. The price for creating a photo movie and entering it into this competition will be as quoted on the MyElephantBites website competition page from time to time.
2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
3. You are permitted one entry. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry which we receive will be considered.
4. The terms and conditions of the MyElephantBites website ("Website T&Cs") apply to all entrants, and by entering this competition and creating and submitting a photo movie to us, you agree to be bound by them. Click here to review.
5. All entries must be uploaded to the MyElephantBites website by the date stated on the website competition page. At the time of submission you will be required to open a membership account via the MyElephantBites website and confirm your acceptance of these rules and the Website T&Cs. Failure to do so means that your competition entry will be rejected.
6. You acknowledge and agree that you have obtained the prior express consent of all those persons appearing in any submitted entry to: (i) appearing in the photo movie; (ii) your submitting the photo movie to this competition; and (iii) the use, publication and distribution of such photo movie by us or on our behalf or otherwise in accordance with these rules or the Website T&Cs.
7. We reserve the right to review all submitted photo movies for appropriateness on the grounds of duration, decency, taste, and overall reasonableness, and for compliance with our Members Conduct Policy which is set out in the Website T&Cs. MyElephantBites reserves the absolute right without notice to eliminate from the competition any photo movie it considers to be inappropriate or in breach of such Members Conduct Policy.
8. Any words included in the photo movie must be in English.
9. Any photo movie which generates reasonable complaints (including after publication by or on behalf of MyElephantBites) may, at MyElephantBites' absolute discretion, be eliminated from the competition and/or deleted from the MyElephantBites website, and such entrants may be disqualified from any further participation in this or any future competition. MyElephantBites' decision in this respect is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any such decision.
10. MyElephantBites may at its sole discretion and without notice, notify relevant law enforcement authorities if it becomes aware that any submitted photo movie depicts illegal conduct or contains any content which fails to comply with our Members Conduct Policy. In doing so, MyElephantBites may give such law enforcement authorities access to your personal data.
11. You acknowledge and agree that MyElephantBites may, in its sole discretion and without notice, determine aggregation of any photo movie you submit with other content, as well as the look and feel, layout, placement and design of your photo movie when published by or on behalf of MyElephantBites. You acknowledge that MyElephantBites may in its absolute discretion edit, adapt, reformat, tag or otherwise modify any photo movie you submit.
12. You, and not MyElephantBites, are entirely responsible for the content of any photo movie which you submit and which we may publish (or have published on our behalf) as part of this Competition. Accordingly, you warrant that: (1) the submission of a photo movie by you will not infringe the rights of others; (2) you own all intellectual property rights (including copyright) in and to the material or content you submit and have the full right to submit such material to MyElephantBites and to grant the rights granted to MyElephantBites hereunder; and (3) you have obtained the express consent of all those persons appearing in any submitted entry to : (i) appearing in the photo movie; (ii) your submitting the photo movie to this competition; and (iii) the use, publication and distribution of such photo movie by us or on our behalf or otherwise in accordance with these rules or the Website T&Cs.
13. You agree to allow MyElephantBites to use your photo movie competition entry in any manner (including to copy, display, modify, transmit, make derivative works of or distribute the same), in any media and without payment, including for promotional and demonstration purposes.
14. Competition entries will be judged by a panel of judges on the following criteria:
i) Artistic merit;
ii) Creative use of the MyElephantBites service;
iii) Integration of visual and sound components; and
iv) Overall impact.
15. The winner of the competition will be contacted by email to confirm that they have won this competition.
16. The winner of the competition will receive a cheque for a monetary prize. The size of the monetary prize will be advertised on the MyElephantBites website during each competition.
17. Prizes are not transferable or negotiable.
18. Any personal details which you submit to us when entering this competition will be used in accordance with the Privacy Policy set out in the Website T&Cs. Click here to review. In particular, MyElephantBites may need to pass your personal details to associated companies and other organisations to process the competition entry. You must not enter this competition if you do not agree to the use of your personal data in this way and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
19. No responsibility is accepted by MyElephantBites for correspondence (including cheques or notices of the award of prizes) lost, damaged or delayed in transit. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. Our liability to you will be limited in accordance with the Website T&Cs.
20. The results of the prize draw may be obtained by sending a SAE to MyElephantBites Ltd, 96 Banbury Road, Oxford,OX2 6JT, England. Any decision of MyElephantBites relating to eligibility, awards, results of this competition and all other aspects of this competition is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
21. MyElephantBites reserves the right to alter or cancel this competition at any time without notice or liability where circumstances arise which may make it unfeasible to continue.
22. The rules of this competition and any disputes arising from it will be governed by English law. The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or matter arising from or related to the rules of this competition, provided that this shall not limit our right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
